MediHome provides
nursing care for patients in their own homes.
Medihome Nurses look after patients with an acute medical condition or following
either planned or emergency surgery who would otherwise be in hospital. Generally, patients receive
care from us for between two days and two weeks.
Until recently care
from a MediHome Nurse was only available to private patients.
Increasingly NHS hospitals and Primary Care Trusts are employing
MediHome Nurses to provide this service to NHS patients.
