Medihome is committed to quality
across the board. Whether in relation to clinical standards
or customer service, we aspire to the highest quality
standards.
Our clinical operations are
overseen by a Clinical Governance Committee that includes three
external members: a former NHS acute trust medical director, a
former policy director of the Royal College of Nurses, and a
former NHS Strategic Health Authority chairman.
MediHome's performance is currently rated "Excellent" by the
Commission for Social Care Inspection.

We invest in
training our staff to meet our own demanding care standards.
Every nurse and healthcare assistant working with us passes
through MediHome's own induction training programme and receives
continuing training throughout the year. All work undertaken
by our staff has to be comply with detailed protocols and
policies that have been developed within a comprehensive clinical
governance framework.
MediHome is working towards
Investors in People and ISO 9001 accreditation. Achieving
accreditation takes time and is only granted once the necessary
processes have been in place for many months.
We survey the experience of our
patients through a rigorous patient satisfaction survey that
addresses all the issues used in the
Healthcare Commission's
assessment of NHS trusts, as well as other measures that we think
important.
We operate to the NHS CNST
(Clinical
Negligence Scheme for Tusts) Level 3 standard which means
that we satisfy the demanding requirements for coverage by the
NHS's own medical negligence insurance scheme.
