If needed, we can also arrange for one of our chartered physiotherapists to visit you in your home, to help get you back on your feet as soon as possible.

Your doctor will be kept constantly up-to-date

If you are going to be cared for by MediHome after being in hospital, you will first be assessed by one of our nurses, either before you go to hospital or while you are there. Then, shortly after arriving home from hospital, you will be visited by one of our nurses. (Alternatively, for certain conditions a doctor or community matron may arrange for a MediHome nurse to visit without you ever having to go to the hospital.)

Your MediHome nurse or physiotherapist will check that everything has been done to ensure that you have a comfortable and trouble-free recovery. He or she will then administer any necessary treatments and medications, as prescribed. They will also be happy to answer any questions and give you any advice you need.

If necessary, your nurse or physiotherapist can easily contact your doctor, and will continuously update your clinical notes using a secure password-protected Electronic Patient Record System that your doctor can view using internet connection.
